David Lilja (Director)
David is the founder of DLK Advisory and has spent more than 20 years supporting his clients in managing and coordinating their accounting and tax obligations.
Prior to starting DLK Advisory, David held senior leadership positions with Crowe Horwath, Smartgroup, KPMG and EY, which has provided him with broad expertise, experiences and business insights across a wide range of clients and industry sectors.
David focuses on providing commercial and practical solutions to problems and communicating them in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
He specialises in providing accounting, tax, business advisory and transaction support services. He also has a specific interest in the remuneration of an organisation’s workforce, including employees (local and expatriate), contractors and directors, involving the design and implementation of remuneration programs combined with managing their regulatory obligations.
David is also an active Angel Investor, working with start-ups to become investment ready, including ensuring the companies maximise tax benefits such as R&D and the Early Stage Innovation Company (ESIC) concession for its investors.
